Adventure Club

Jacob’s Learning Ladder Adventure Club is our answer to Latchkey. Adventure Club operates from 7:00am to 6:00pm, Monday through Friday. This program helps parents in need of child care all day and times outside of morning and afternoon preschool classes.

Adventure Club is a program designed to enrich the curriculum and themes introduced in the preschool classrooms, including Handwriting Without Tears, our writing curriculum.

7:00-8:30	Light breakfast (if requested) and Learning Centers
8:30-9:25	Gross Motor Play - Indoor/Outdoor Activities (weather permitting)
9:25-9:30	Personal Hygiene Responsibilities
9:30-9:40	Table Time - Handwriting Without Tears/Fine Motor Skills
9:40-9:50	Circle Time - Today's Helpers/Calendar/Flag Salute/Weekly Theme/ Literacy Skills/Math Concepts/Songs and Fingerplays
9:50-10:30	Snack Time/Personal Hygiene
10:30-11:30	Learning Centers - Library/Science/Dramatic Play/Manipulatives/Art Activities
11:30-11:40	Story Time - Listen and Discussion
11:40-12:00	Gross Motor Play - Indoor/Outdoor Activities
12:00-1:00	Lunch - Bathroom/Personal Hygiene/Gross Motor Play/Prepare for Nap
1:00-3:00	Nap/Rest Time
3:00-4:30	Bathroom/Personal Hygiene/Snack/Learning Centers
4:30-6:00	Gross Motor Play - Indoor/Outdoor Activities Pick-up and Departure
